Adult Night School HitTrax League The workday ends. Class begins. Looking for a reason to keep competing after your playing days? Or maybe you're just looking for a fun night out with friends who still love the game. The Adult Night School HitTrax League is a six-week competitive baseball league designed for players 18 and older. Build a three-player team, grab a fourth as an alternate if you'd like, and compete every Thursday night in fast-paced indoor games powered by HitTrax. Think of it like a 3-on-3 basketball league, but for baseball. You'll hit live at-bats off our Sports Tutor Triple Play Ultra machines while HitTrax tracks every pitch, calls balls and strikes, and places every ball into a virtual field with real game outcomes. Games follow a traditional three-out inning format, with every hitter beginning each at-bat with a 1-1 count to keep the action moving. Every Thursday is a doubleheader, giving each team two games every night and 10 guaranteed regular-season games over five weeks. The season concludes with a single-elimination championship tournament in Week 6, where one team will earn bragging rights and the inaugural Adult Night School championship. League Details Thursdays, September 10 – October 15 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM (last game starts) Ages 18+ 3-player teams Up to 4 players on each roster (3 bat each game) 25-minute games Doubleheaders every week 10 guaranteed regular-season games Week 6 championship tournament $300 per team Spots are limited. Adult Night School HitTrax League Policies Team Rosters Teams consist of 3 active players. Teams may roster up to 4 players (1 alternate). Only rostered players may participate in league games. Players may only be rostered on one team. Rosters are locked after the start of Week 1. Roster changes will only be approved in the event of an injury or other extenuating circumstances, subject to league approval. Weekly Lineups Teams may play with 2 players if one teammate is unavailable. Teams may not play with only 1 player. A team unable to field at least two rostered players will forfeit that game. Teams may use any combination of their rostered players each week. League Format Six-week season. Doubleheaders every Thursday. 10 guaranteed regular-season games. Week 6 concludes with a single-elimination championship tournament. Regular-season standings determine championship tournament seeding. Game Format Games are 25 minutes in length. Standard 3-out innings. A maximum of 7 runs may be scored in each half inning. Once the seventh run scores, the half inning is over. Any runs scored beyond the seventh run on the same batted ball will not count. A game will end immediately if either team leads by 20 or more runs at any point during the game. Games begin promptly at their scheduled start time. Teams should be ready to play when their game is called. Home Team Home and visiting teams will be assigned randomly during the regular season. For the championship tournament, the higher-seeded team will be designated as the home team throughout the tournament. Late Arrival & Forfeits Teams should arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled game time. Games will begin at the scheduled start time. A 5-minute grace period will be allowed for late arrivals. If a team cannot field at least two rostered players within the grace period, the game will be recorded as a forfeit. Standings & Tiebreakers Standings will be determined by winning percentage. Tiebreakers: Head-to-head Run differential Runs scored Coin flip Equipment Only bats approved under current USA Baseball, USSSA, BBCOR, or USA Softball standards, as well as wood bats, are permitted. Only tennis shoes or turf shoes are permitted inside The School of Reps. Cleats of any kind are prohibited.
