Service Description

Hi, I’m Addison Steele. Softball has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From my early days on the dirt to playing at the collegiate level with NJC, this sport has taught me more about myself than anything else. To me, softball is more than just a game; it is a powerful tool for building character, resilience, and a deep sense of self-trust. My journey has been shaped by the incredible mentors I’ve had the privilege of playing for, especially during my years in competitive club ball. The guidance and high-level strategy I gained from those coaches helped me refine my game and inspired me to pass that knowledge on to the next generation of athletes. Following my time playing for Sterling High School, being able to continue my career at the collegiate level in my hometown has been a true blessing. It allows me to stay connected to this community while helping local players grow in their skills and confidence. Softball is famously a "game of failure," which is why I believe the mental side of the game is just as important as the physical. Being confident in your swing and your glove is the most important part of the sport. My goal is to ensure that every athlete I work with—whether we are focused on fundamental fielding or explosive hitting—walks away as the most confident version of themselves. I bring the same dedication and hard work to my coaching that I’ve applied throughout my own playing career. While my focus is now on developing others, one of my proudest milestones remains holding the Single Season RBI record (39). That achievement taught me the importance of being "clutch" under pressure—a mindset I strive to pass on to every student I teach.
